Raising the Bar: The Evolution of Value-Based Care in New York: Hear From Health Plan Leaders on What Works and What Doesn’t

Value-based care holds real promise, but turning that promise into practice requires more than aligned incentives.  It requires trust, infrastructure, and a shared understanding of what “readiness” looks like. In this session, health plan leaders will explore the practical challenges of moving organizations into risk, how contracts should be structured, what signals indicate a provider is ready for deeper downside exposure and how to manage the complexity of operating across multiple programs. The discussion will span commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid VBC, as well as network and specialty care strategy, Star Ratings alignment, and the data transparency providers need to succeed.

Turning Data Into Action: AI-Enabled Clinical Decision Support for Value-Based Care

Value-based care organizations have more data than ever, but turning that data into timely, trusted, and actionable clinical guidance remains a major challenge. Dr. Arjun Gokhale will discuss practical lessons from building AI-enabled clinical decision support for primary care, including how to prioritize recommendations, earn clinician trust, and drive measurable performance improvement in value-based care.
