Comparing standardized beneficiary spending and utilization measures across Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) ACOs is critical to achieving better care, better health, and smarter spending. To help members get an accurate picture of how their ACOs are performing relative to peers, we continuously work to improve the data quality and timeliness of the NAACOS Benchmarking Comparison and Performance Analysis (BCAPA) web-based reporting tool.

The latest BCAPA report is now available and allows ACOs to compare their performance with various peer groups on Part A and Part B beneficiary spending and utilization measures. The web-based tool allows users to navigate across years, ACO beneficiary categories, and comparison groups. Users can select price standardized or unadjusted comparisons, and reports are easily exported to Excel.

NEW Custom Peer Group Option: To complement and enhance the BCAPA report, which is free to NAACOS members, we are also offering a fee-based option that enables users to purchase BCAPA profiles for specific ACOs to create custom performance comparisons. This will be available for purchase in the BCAPA web tool at these rates:  $1,000 for one additional ACO; $2,000 for five additional ACOs; and $400 each for six to fifteen additional ACOs. For purchasing more than 15 additional ACOs and for general information, please contact [email protected].
